History
The George H. and Ella M. Rodgers Memorial Library was constructed in memory of the parents of G. Philip and Alvin Rodgers, financed by their generous donation in October 2007.
After a busy winter getting everything into place, ground was broken in June 2008, and construction continued through the winter. The new library opened to the public for the first time on May 18, 2009. The official dedication and grand opening ceremony was held on June 7, 2009.
